Tower Hill Insurance Group, founded in 1972, is one of Florida’s largest writers of residential property insurance. Tower Hill is committed to the state’s independent agency channel, and excited to have the opportunity to partner with FMS in offering Hillcrest Insurance Company to FAIA member agencies not currently affiliated with Tower Hill.

Hillcrest Insurance Company, formed in 2005, is a Florida-domiciled insurance company managed exclusively by Tower Hill Insurance Group, Inc. Hillcrest currently holds a Financial Stability Rating of A (Exceptional) by Demotech, Inc. Hillcrest offers broad coverage for Homeowners (HO-3) risks throughout Florida, with many additional endorsements available.

Tower Hill handles all aspects of the daily operations for Hillcrest, including reinsurance, customer service, operations, billing and claims services. Tower Hill's corporate headquarters is located in Gainesville, Florida. The company’s backup location in Lexington, Kentucky, is designed to provide additional capacity and support in the event of a debilitating storm in Florida. Process Steps:

• Fill out the appropriate appointment form. Send the completed form, along with the required documents listed on the questionnaire, to FMS with a check payable to Hillcrest Insurance Company in the amount of $62.10 for appointment fees. Each agent requesting an appointment with Hillcrest must submit the fee.
• FMS checks for proper completion and forwards to Tower Hill.
• Tower Hill enters the sub-agent information in their system and forwards a username/ password to the FAIA member. Tower Hill offers training on using their system to agencies on request.
• FAIA member quotes, binds and issues policies via Tower Hill’s website.
• Commissions are paid directly to the sub-agent by EFT (electronic funds transfer). This is the only option available via this program.
