Agents E&O Program


Swiss Re / Westport E&O Coverage: Protect your agency from E&O suits with the best coverage in the industry. This program is exclusive for FAIA/IIABA members. The program is negotiated by agents, for agents and is overseen by the IIABA Professional Liability Committee (PLC). The PLC is made up of agents and state association staff. Swiss Re / Westport is committed to a long-term, stable program and FAIA members can count on them to be in the Florida market for many years to come

Agency EPLI Coverage: FMS has coverage for Employment Practices Liability available to FAIA members.


E&O Happens–This website is hosted by IIABA and co-branded by Swiss Re / Westport and IIABA. The site offers tons of useful loss control information to Swiss Re / Westport insureds. Everything from case studies to sample procedures to agency self-assessments…all available at the click of the mouse.

Agency Shield:  Swiss Re’s Commercial Insurance (underwritten by Westport Insurance), working with the Big "I", has developed an insurance agency E&O claims prevention consulting program, called the Agency Shield Program (ASP™), which is available exclusively for Swiss Re policyholders.  Distributed through your local Big "I" association it is designed to be an affordable and easy to implement tool to reduce E&O exposure, improve client service and build sustainable, profitable processes.  Policyholders that complete the Agency Shield Program™ will receive a 10% E&O premium credit good for three years on their next renewal.   

Record Retention Schedule: This document is the current recommendation to agents as to how long specific client documents should be kept..
